Social Media Management

As Pacific Granite Manufacturing's Digital Marketing Specialist, I am responsible for managing the company's social media presence across a variety of platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, Bing, Yelp, and LinkedIn. I publish approximately twelve social media posts and two blog posts per week and create all of the company's branded content, including videos, corporate images, and graphics. I’ve grown their Instagram account from less than 20 followers to 3,000+ within a six-month timeframe, with zero budget. Additionally, I successfully redeveloped the company's website from scratch and launched it in April 2023, and I continue to manage it at pacificgranite.ca. As the sole member of the marketing team, I have almost complete creative control and am responsible for managing all aspects of the content creation and digital marketing process.

 

During my time as a social media specialist at Voss Motorcycle Helmets, I had the opportunity to take on a range of responsibilities. In particular, I was in charge of creating visual content for the brand's social media platforms, including shooting photos, producing engaging videos, and curating images from other content creators. Additionally, I managed the brand's Instagram account, posting content and responding to customer inquiries and comments.

 

In my role at Rize Bikes, I was responsible for overseeing the company’s social media presence for the entire year of 2021, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, Bing, Yelp, and LinkedIn. During this time, I created all of their branded videos and the majority of branded images (sourcing scenic images where necessary) and developed the posting sequence and strategy for each platform. In addition to curating and scheduling posts, I also crafted engaging descriptions, responded to comments and direct messages, and managed giveaways and promotions. With my experience and skills in social media management, content creation, and marketing, I am confident in my ability to help businesses like Rize Bikes achieve their goals and boost their online presence.

 

As the former marketing manager at Frogbox, an eco-friendly moving box company, I had the opportunity to showcase my skills in photography, videography, social media management, and advertising. In this role, I was responsible for creating compelling visual content, including photos and videos, that aligned with the brand's mission of promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. I also managed their social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, Bing, Yelp, and LinkedIn, developing and executing targeted campaigns that helped to increase their online presence and engagement. Additionally, I ran Ad campaigns to reach a wider audience and drive traffic to the company's website.

 

As the manager of the Gene Coffee Bar Instagram account in early 2020, I had the privilege of capturing photos of the business along with the beauty of the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. I also produced compelling videos and curated and published engaging posts that resonated with their target audience, helping to increase engagement and drive traffic to the cafe. In this role, I had complete creative control and was responsible for managing the account's overall strategy and ensuring that all content aligned with the brand's values and objectives.

 

Friendlly is a personal project I experimented with during the summer of COVID-19. It started as a YouTube project and grew into a multi-platform brand, including an Instagram account that helped to promote and showcase my content. The account featured various types of content, from promos to short-form videos and photos that capture the essence of the project. The project is on hold, for now, but I may start it back up again.
